HawaiianTropic After Sun Body Butter.

This is my go to After sun which is also a body butter.
I used this last year on my holiday to Cyprus and more recently when I went to Las Vegas.
After a day in the sun and after I have showered I put this body butter all over my legs, arms, shoulders and anywhere else that I may have caught the sun.
Not only do I not peel when I use this but it also smells of coconut which is one of my favourite summer smells.
Even after I have returned from my holidays I still use this to keep my tan looking good and it has been known that people have said to me that I smell of holiday!

It is a body butter so is quite creamy but it does rub into the skin really well with no after feel of stickiness.
If I have been in the sun quite a lot I also apply this just before bed time as well.

I will definately keep buying this as long as they stock it as it keeps my tan looking nice even when I'm back home.

Until next time.......

Sharon.

Avon Planet Spa Dead Sea Minerals& Caviar Refining Facial Treatment

Quite new to the Avon Planet Spa range is the dead sea minerals and caviar refining facial treatment.
I love their Planet Spa range so couldn't wait to try this out when i saw it being advertised in my 'Hello Tomorrow' brochure which is a brochure for all reps to see what is coming out in the next few brochures at a special demonstration price.

Avon claims it will leave your skin feeling fresh, repaired and revived.Apply this product once a day in the evening.

The consistency is not too thin and not too thick and applies really well and sinks into your skin after a few minutes.Sometimes sea/ocean scented products smell too much of the sea for me and it puts me off. This is just right and actually smells quite refreshing.

I have been using this for a while now each night and when i wake up in the morning my face is really smooth and just generally feels really nice.

As you can see from the photo , in the light this has a lovely pink/purple shimmer to it.It even looks nice.

Does'nt it just look nice?? You can see how it shimmers in the light.

You will love this if you love the Planet Spa range and you will love this even if you don't.
It is a 75ml tub and is in the current brochure, brochure 12, on offer for £4.90 instead of the usual price of £7.00.

Have you tried the Planet Spa range yet?

Until next time...........Sharon.

June Empties

Other Brands

Lee Stafford Pink Pefumed Body Spray.
I got this last year from the Clothes show and think it was about £1, i remember at the time it was a really good buy. It's 100ml so a decent size and i love the smell, which is a fruity smell of passionfruit, bergamot and cassis and then abit of a spicy smell which consists of a rich oriental patchouli and vanilla base with chocolate, honey and sweet caramel.
Would i re-purchase? Yes.

Olay Daily Facials Express Cleansing Wipes.
I most probably bought these from Superdrug when they were on offer.I got the normal/dry skin wipes. There are 20 wipes in a packet.I thought they did the job effectively and were quite moisturising-some wipes just seem too dry.
Would i re-purchase? Yes-if they were on offer.

Simple Anti-Wrinkle Day Cream.
This is a sample  size of 10ml but was enough for me to try it out.It worked for me as it was moistursing and it seemed to sink into my skin well.
Would i re-purchase? Yes-i would buy the full size but at the moment i actually have another sample to use up first.

Avon Empties

Personal Match Barely There Make up.
Who do companies have to discontinue your favourite product???? I loved this as it was a natural looking foundation which blended in really well.I now wish i had stocked up on these.Hopefully they ill bring it back at some point like they do with some products.

Naturals Vanilla Moisturising Body Scrub.
This is a 200ml size and boy does it smell good.I love anything with a vanilla or coconut smell so when i saw they were bringing this out i had to buy it right away. This also contains shea butter (another of my favourites),milk protein and and vitamin E.This had just the right amount of grains in it for me as i don't like scrubs that are too rough.Avon also have this in Strawberry which i am yet to try out.
In the current brochure (brochure 12) they have this on offer including other items from the Naturals range at any 3 for £4.00.
Would i re-purchase? Yes-i already have in vanilla and strawberry.

Its not that many empties this month, but i have so many on the go which i am trying to use up, so hopefully next month i will have a few more.

Please let me know if you have tried any of these products and what you thought of them.

Until next time.........Sharon.

L.A Colors Metallic Eyeshadow- Unforgettable

Today i'm going to review an eyeshadow which i received from a facebook swapping site. I exchanged an item for the L.A Colors 5 colour metallic Eyeshadow 'Unforgettable'.
I picked this out as i wear alot of neutrals and pink eyeshadow and i had'nt tried this brand before.

This is what it claims on their website:

Bold Shades
Dual Ended Applicator
Silky Smooth Application

Enhance eyes with these new bright, bold shades! Magnificent metallic eyeshadows in 24 intense sets! Dazzle any crowd with these stunning colors. Quality ingredients assure long wear all day! Create the perfect look with these 5 shades. Professionally selected and combined for the perfect eye palette.

So, lets have a look at the swatches.

The three to the left were 2 swipes of the finger and the other 2 were one swipe without primer.Imagine how much better they would be with primer underneath.
There is some fall out as you can see from my second picture where i have used the pink the most, but the colour does seem to last all day.

I know this is'nt an English brand but you can get this from the Cherryculture website which does shipping to England.

Or you might be lucky enough, like me, to be going on holiday to America this summer where you will be able to find it in some of their beauty stores.

Have you tried L.A Colors before?

Until next time.......Sharon.

Primark T-shirts-£3.00 each. You can never have enough t-shirts on holiday so picked these up, the middle one has 'Miami' across the front and i couldnt resist as thats where we will be for the second week of our holiday.

Fifty Shades of Grey-Thought i would join in with the hype to see what it's all about. In Wh Smiths alot of books were on buy one get one for half price. They did'nt have Fifty Shades Darker so i got Fifty Shades Freed instead as i can pick up the other book another time.

And that is all my shopping haul.It might seems alot but its not often i go out on a shopping spree and i got quite a few things on offer.I think going shopping before a holiday also leads up to the excitement.

Latest in Beauty - Skincare Stars Box

This was the limited edition Skincare stars box which was featured in the 'You' Daily Mail magazine for the price of £8.95 plus £2.95 for p & p.
I ordered one last Sunday as they sell out very quick (due to their good value) and received it on Wednesday.

This is 190ml and full size. I am into cleansing waters at the moment and not having tried this brand before i am lookin forward to trying this out.

Melvita Youthful Day Cream.
This is a 15ml size. This is an organic French brand (a baby sister to L'Occitane) and another brand i've not used before. This cream is said to soften lines and wrinkles and has an immediate soothing effect on the skin.I will most probably take this on holiday as it's a great travel size.

Murad Exfoliating Cleanser.
This is a 30ml sample and claims to leave your complexion smoother and brighter.

Balance Me Moisture Rich Face Cream.
This is a smaller size at 10ml and is suitable for normal to dry/senstive skin.Again it's one that i will most probably take with me on holiday.Have had the Balance Me in some of the beauty boxes but ive not tried their face cream before.

Kiehls Midnight Recovery Concentrate.
A 4ml sample and this is a night time replenishing elixir, resulting in a smoother, more radiant complexion by morning-sounds just what i need!

L'Occitane Angelica Hydration Cream.
A 15ml sample which claims to moistuirize and revitalize the skin.Another one i will take on holiday with me, as will need alot of moisturiser after a day in the very hot sun.

Within the box was some leaflets offering discount codes on the various products. This box is worth over £40 RRP and the great thing with the Latest in Beauty boxes is that you actually see the contents in the box before you sign up to buy it.
I for one have never been disappointed with these boxes as they are such good value.

Who else managed to order one and what are you looking forward to trying the most?
